Open URL

Open URL allows you to create a shortcut link on SpringBoard that leads to your webpage (or other URL) of choice. You’ll find instructions on how to do this over at the Open URL page. You can link to a normal webpage like http://www.google.com or go crazy and link to special iTouch/iPhone-enabled protocol handlers like itms:// or mailto://.
For more details plus a description of the coding I used, please refer to my original TUAW post

You’ll need to use sftp to copy them over unless you can get Conceited Software or Smxy.org to package them up so they’ll be available via Installer.app

i’m getting an error when the web address has a ‘?’ in it. looks like openurl is translating it into the escape code, but then safari doesn’t change it back - just enters it as %3F
url is: http://www.iradioapp.com/city.cgi?Columbus
any way around this?

I haven’t really done any escaped URLs–sorry!
