- If you downloaded any self-updating version of AirFlick 0.30 or earlier before 3:40PM Eastern time today, please re-download by hand whatever the newest update is. There was a problem with Sparkle (the updater) public keys being too long (2048 bits vs 1024 bits). You will not be able to use the “Update Now” features without having the new key. (Thank you goes to the fabulous Fraser Hess of Sweeter Rhythm.)
- If you are getting green artifacts in VLC encoding, please see this tweet. It appears that VLC 1.1.3 works better than 1.1.5 for transcoding.
- If you do not see an AirFlick option in Mac AirVideo Client yet, please update your software.

David Hopson, the author of the unofficial AirVideo Mac Client has added AirFlick support to his app. You can now start streaming an AirVideo movie directly through AirFlick using AirVideo Server transcoding. In related news, AirFlick has a new design and a lot of new features. Please send constructive suggestions on how to improve the user experience. Thanks to Jason Holtslander for the fabulous new icon. And yes, there’s finally Sparkle support.
