All the book code samples are under the BSD license. The Google Code site should reflect this, as I needed to specify the license before doing the uploads.

Is the source code for the utility applications also available (e.g. notificationWatcher, etc).

Regards.

Erica,

I am an assist. Prof of Computer Science at the University of Colorado. I will begin teaching a series of courses on iPhone apps starting in the fall. I am interested in using your book.

The fist class in the fall will probably only go 2/3rds of the way in your book. However I have issues with inforit.com. The database states that my password at the back of the book does not exists. The website www.informit.com/safarifree does not exist. They would not let me get a deskcopy to read your book so I had to buy one. Then when I wanted to ask them to rectify the aforementioned their inquisition is time consuming and full of marketing data that is of no interest to me.

All I wanted was to see whether you have downloads of the code in the book and maybe some extra chapter 1 level programs and code I could spread over the first few weeks of the course. Also how accessible and easy will it be for the students to get the code. Right how it’s a NIGHTMARE getting to your site and getting code that is solely for those who’ve purchased your book

I should have 60 students per semester. I like your work and yoru code but I need to see if the aforementioned quagmire of accessing code and video tutorials will be fixed.

If you are inclined to contact me: rlewis@eas,uccs,edu

–Rory
