Howdy Erica-
Thanks for the great book! And even though I have to consider you a friendly competitor in my iTunes app space, I feel compelled to let you know that your link is broken
:)
Thanks again-
Chuck

could the converter, hold values and manual update, as in some counties I need the exchange rate in general, and not live. I can only keep update for a week, would like to keep and only manual update.
thanx

I love the book, I am working the temp converter in the book and when I run it I get an error. I was going to look at the code you posted, but I don’t see it. Is it possible to post it in the code section or for you to email the code.
Thanks!

Converter Pro does not work with iTouch. I’m using 2.2 and I’m logged in to the Internet and all I get is “Rate Error. Try later.” I’ve been trying for two days.
Any suggestions?

I may be missing something, but you say that 5 objects appear in MainWindow.nib and refer me to Figure 3-2, all on p. 84 of my copy of the Cookbook. Figure 3-2 shows only items 1, 2 and 5. Neither First Responder nor a view controller appear. My nib window shows “Walk Through View Controller.” Why should I drag another into MainWindow.nib? Figure 3-4 shows the [unnamed] view controller and view - still no First Responder. Is there something out of sync, or am I simply betraying how elementary my coding skills are?
