What is the status of the book now that Apple has dropped the NDA? I ordered it from Amazon but got the notice it was delayed, and then saw the message on the site regarding the NDA.

Hey Erica, How come in your video and in the book has “globe” icon in the iphone keyboard for chapter 8 html text view recipe, but it does not show in my computer after i compile… i cant see to find the UIKeyboardType that shows that icon!!

If you liked the book, please do leave a review on Amazon. As for the globe, that’s set by International settings. You need to activate several keyboards for that to show up. It’s not controlled directly from the SDK programs.

Thanks Erica - I bought both the PDF and the book, and am very happy with them.

It helped me launch my first iPhone app today - StationStops for iPhone - which puts the Grand Central Terminal timetable on your iPhone!

Hi Erica, the ColorDrill movie shows the right Bar Buttons in color. I cannot see how this can be accomplished – and the actual sample code has the buttons in the plain blue color. Is there an unofficial property for the button tint? Regards, Bertil

First, thank you for your numerous contributions to the iPhone development community. I have recommended your book to anyone who wants to jump start their project. Wish I had it 6 months ago LOL !

What utility do you use to record your sample movies? I am looking for just the thing to demonstrate my application.
