<description>Hi Erica. Got the Cookbook today. Very much looking forward to going through it. :-)

I sent you an email to the address posted at the O'Reilly site, but no response. Don't know if you saw it (or care to).

I have taken the concepts of your perl script to scrape international reviews and rewritten it in PHP with the following enhancements:
- Put country names and store IDs in an array for easy modification, addition, etc.
- Put the app names and IDs in arrays for easier modification, addition, etc.
- Made it grab all data at once (with progress indicators) and write data to an array (as opposed to printing to the screen) so the user may walk the array to do whatever she/he wants with the data (the intention was that some may want to do things like store data in a database for historical reasons, or do statistical analysis, or turn it into XML, or automate a translation process, or...)
- Show each country's number of reviews and overall rating
- Show each review's rating, author, title and content
- Only display information for regions countries that have reviews to show

I would have modified your perl script to do all of this, but I haven't used perl for any serious work for about 8 years, so it would have taken me much, much longer.

Since I based my modifications on your code, I would be happy to provide it to you to use however you wish, if you are interested.

Thanks!</description>
