Hi Erica, my colleagues in UK cannot download your UDID app. Can you free the app so people around the world can download it?

I'm trying to figure out if I can detect if the silent switch is toggled with deviceinfo -a How do I find out what all the -a "io registry" values I can query for?

I'm modifying smsnotify to actually play an audible alert using your "play" utility but it plays the alert even if the phone is supposed to be silent.

Hi Erica,

Do you have in mind updating the command line tools Alarm, DoQuery, DoAlarm, DoShell ?

I was using them to create alarms with some song from my iPod library through a simple shell script.

Thanks

Hi,
I am bothering again. the openURL works after fixing permissions and signing with ldid. but in only works by giving the url as parameter by ssh.
executing from springboard does not include the url.txt file. any suggestions?

Hi Erica,
any update on this? first I found out a permission issue but I still can not execute the openURL on 2.0.
when executing via SSL it only returns "killed".

thank you so much for your help!

Hello Erica,

A quick issue I noticed with launch is that whenever I try to run an application it just ignores it and opens the input #...I enter AppStore.app-com.apple.AppStore and even just AppStore-com.apple.AppStore. Should I first cd into the directory?? I just can't seem to find a work around. Awaiting your reply.

thank you. found it.
Does the same syntax for the package apply? I downloaded the Deprecated package and replaced it with the new openURL.
but it only bounces back to the springboard without action.

i tried the url.txt with "tel://..." and "http://..."

It's part of the new Erica Utilities. You can download it here (go to ericasadun.com/ftp and to the Erica Utilities folder) or from Cydia

Am I blind? where do I find the 2.0 compatible openURL? the one in the Deprecated is the "old" one, isn´t it?

thanks!
