Not too interesting up till now... but all this has lead me to believe that it IS possible to change your carrier name on an un-jailbroken iPhone. One would simply have to back up your phone using iTunes, then find where on the local backup file the carrier name is stored, alter it, then restore the slightly altered backup - and it should in theory be done. of course, I know nothing about the technical aspects of such stuff... but, what do you think? It shows that ldid is in there. Why isnt it showing up in my list on cydia then? I havent altered the list or anything like that. Any ideas?
