The "settings" stuff should be omitted -- it's far from being reasonable to get into the dark, page to the settings, change f.e. color, and get back to the app… Even a "touch" -> dialogue -> choose -> back to the app approach would be more helpful, although I appreciate a more "touchy" way to deal with the iPhone/iTouch.
