I'm also curious to know how you managed to record in AMR format in VoiceNotes. Since this app was written pre-SDK, I'm assuming that it uses private API:s. Would it be possible to port the AMR recording code to an "App Store compliant" app?

Thanks,

Hi Erica

I was wondering what you were using to store AMR files on the iPhone. I need to do something similar, but it seems that AudioQueue's do not support Adaptive Multirate. Did you integrate the AMR-encoder from 3GPP or else?

Many thanks in advance
