It also prevents email attachments that are normally displayable on the phone from working! This includes pdf, doc, xls and probably the rest as well. I quit after testing those 3. I verified this in the following way: With the plug-in uninstalled, and a fresh restart, I sent myself 3 emails, each containing 1 of those types. They all displayed fine. Then I installed the plug-in and restarted the phone. Now, none of them would display, I just got a lego/? icon where the attachment would be. Next, I untinstalled the plug-in and restarted. They all worked again. Seems fairly logical to me, after all the folder is called "Internet Plug-Ins"! The good news aspect of this, is there's a chance the plug-in author may figure out how to harness this to download email attachments. But for now, I'm leaving the plug-in uninstalled. I'm using the HistoryDL method instead of the FileDownloadPlugin, but of course it doesn't matter how the file gets there, as long as it's in one of the accepted locations.
