Christopher Brand was kind enough to test out 0.36 at the command line and discovered his problems arose from spaces in the file names he was sending. I added URL-escaping to version 0.37 and hope this will fix many of your problems.
If you find that the mail program just hangs, reboot your iPhone. Sometimes the mail gets into a state that it doesn’t know how to get out of.
