@Erica
I think FHanna was referring to voicemail greeting, it does not work for me either. If I email it, the amr in the email plays, but i cannot hear my greeting in vnotes 0.23, it plays, but no sound.

Even after updating to voicenotes V0.23 still not able to see embedded amr files in iphone yahoo mail, I changed my default iphone email from Yahoo to Gmail, now it works fine. When i send a recording, Yahoo now receives it with embedded attachement on iphone and the file is also in my gmail sent folder, embedded, on my iphone.

@WiFone, i reread your post and noticed you were using Gmail.

P.S. unrelated, not sure. This evening i lost the ability to send mail from yahoo on my iPhone, i heard the SWOOSH sending sound, but nothing in my sent folder. After emailing myself, i was indeed not sending email. I logged into my pc and cleaned out my sent folder, had 1098 pieces of mail dating back to 2004, sending mail is working again. This did not fix the voicenotes issue though, only switching to gmail for default mail fixed that.

FHanna: Retrieving from Voicemail simply copies the amr files from your voicemail folder into ~/Library/Recordings.

No VoiceMail, no results.

Working fine Erica!
Unlike owen posted above, it works fine with the Gmail account on my iPhone (as well as on pc).

@FHanna: if you have a Windows PC, I would suggest you download WinSCP (just google for it), and connect via WiFi to your iPhone using WinSCP on the PC end, and OpenSSH on the iPhone end. OpenSSH must be switched ON on your iPhone. If you installed 'Services.app' (or íToggle.app, or SSH.app), you can easily switch it on (don't forget to switch it back off when you're done, to save the battery, 'cause SSH is quite a battery drain). You can also use UIctl: select 'com.openssh.sshd' and then 'load -w'. To turn it off again, use 'unload -w'.
