NEW: User’s Manual
Erica Sadun | 9:39 am | November 6, 2007 | Documentation, Admin, Utilities, Applications, iPod touch, iPhone
I’ve decided to start building a User’s Manual for my software. First up, I’ve documented SendSong. The results are found here in my new Documentation folder. The idea is to create a single PDF file that you can download and refer to, which gets updated as the software gets updated.Love the idea? Hate it? Let me know in the comments. p.s. Thanks to Shordy999 for the feedback

This would be really helpful with some of the command line utils.
On another note, how difficult would it be to port over something that would allow PAP-TTLS connections on the wireless?
It’s available on OSX but not on the iPhone.
I know a lot of university students (including myself) who would love this.

Is this something you’d like added as a package for the iPhone, Erica? If so, just let me know (not here) where you want it installed, and I’ll pkg it up for you.

A User’s Manual is a great idea! Sometimes I feel as if I must be a programmer to customize my iPhone, but I can follow directions, or point and click. Erica– you are the best!

Erica, (anima from IRC here - ’see you there)
I’ve just been reading the 0.03 manual and spotted ‘one’ for you to know about - I believe it’s a minor missed edit, as follows:
On the first para of page 8 under the heading “Launching SendFile” the second sentence says “Tap the icon to open the SendSong program” - I presume this should have been edited to “…SendFile…”. Simple - i hope this helps.

Anima: Fixed now in my document. You should see the update when I add another utility and create an updated PDF.
Thanks!
