I guess, but this is a more automatic approach..

the reason I shared was coz I thought maybe you might want to make it a part of SendSong somehow.

it's not perfect, but at least it's effective within ~1min of time.

In 0.20, the file is restored at launch. So you can just launch Sendsong and get back all your ringtones

I made the solution a bit more elegant/efficient..

I made Ringtones.plist a symlink to Ringtones.plist.hold so I can easily just check to see if Ringtones.plist isn't a symlink, and only remake the symlink if it's not.

I put this in cron, works nicely:

http://aarlabs.com/keepSong.txt

what do you think?

hi erica just wanted to comment on your Sensors application, a good start and i think it could be turned into something useful like a table level. or a circular bubble level.

There is a program called seismac that uses the sensor in the macbook pro like a seismagraph.

he has released a set of libraries called SMSLib is the software library used by SeisMac and SeisMaCalibrate to access the Sudden Motion Sensors , it might be useful at
http://www.suitable.com/tools/smslib.html

please put this comment in the right place

Hey Erica,

i dunno if you ever thought of this, but I made a cron job that copies over the Ringtones.plist.hold file over to Ringtones.plist.

prolly would be a lot better to make it so it only does it if the file changed but it's late around here.
