Hi Erica,
I really want to upgrade to Leopard ASAP but am not sure if my unlocked iPhone running 1.0.2 firmware will still work with it. I don’t plan to go to the new firmware anytime soon. Do you know if it will still be ok?
Thanks

Hi Erica!

I recently upgraded to 1.1.1 and reinstalled your VoiceNotes app that I had loved from 1.0.2. I’m having an issue-specifically, after using it to record a voicenote, upon exiting it, all system sounds are then muffled until I power off/on the phone. The keyboard clicks and lock/unlock sounds sound…well, muffled, almost as if the phone gets stuck in a lower bitrate. But iPod music plays fine. Any ideas? I still love your apps, and use them almost daily!

i found a bug in sendsong v19. For some sendsong looses its list of ringtones i added. I’m trying to find the recipe to recreate the problem. Everyday i have resetup my custom ringtone because when i look in the ringtone menu, they are gone

ruben - you can use itunes to restore. Open itunes, dock your fone then click on your iphone on left side tree and click summary tab then choose restore

OKAY. CAN THIS BE DONE??

A vibrating feedback feature for when the keys are pressed.

Basically every time you press a key the phone vibrates. The feature is found in the new LG Viewty, and i think it would be awesome! They (C|Net) say it feels like you’re actually pressing a key on a regular keyboard (kind of).

IS IT POSSIBLE??

i have installed the Dock an have now your screenshot possibility which makes a .png file in /var/temp. And there is your Sendfile app to upload files via email which takes the pictures from /Media/Documents. So is there a possiblity to change the screenshot path or the Sendfile path so booth work together? I mean i make a screenshot and use Sendfile to upload via email…?

Hey Erica,

My name is Zeve Salman and I run Staylazy.net. I developed a widget called Canto Pod, which is basically a piece of software that lets you search for lyrics and copy them to your iPod/iTunes.

But anyway, what I am contacting you about is more important. I would like to team with you to create an iPhone locker. It is not exactly what it sounds like, since it has nothing to do with a sim card.

I would like an application that will be able to allow people to enter their information into a database, and then install a program with similar attributes on their iPhone (or set the settings). The application will then silently check the database every hour, or whatever value we determine, and see whether or not the phone has been listed as “stolen or missing” by the user. If it has been, the phone will display some kind of screen sized image informing the new user that the phone is stolen, or somethingo f the sort.

I will code and maintain the database as well as the user interface for it. You would obviously need to work on the application it self.

I would love to discuss this further with you, and if you are not interested, it would be great for you to recommend some programmers to me. I am not looking to make money off of this either.

You can reach me at zeve DOT sal AT gmail DOT com

The newer xlaunch won’t kill 1.0.2 but it will attempt to write to files that don’t actually exist for that firmware. Should be no harm, no foul.

Hello,

How difficult would it be to make a native app that can run Palm OS programs on it? Wouldn’t that open up the doors to a ton of apps that already exist on the market?
