Erica Utilities and more

The Erica Utilities provide a variety of command-line applications for iPhone and iPod touch users. I am in the process of updating many of the utilities and decided to move the standard ported Unix utilities out of the package and over to their own area. The new Ported Utilities contain utilities ported by myself and others including ffmpeg (ported by Core) and sqlite3 (ported by me). I have also added a subsection, the sql utilities that depend on sqlite3 and provide various ways to dump iPhone data to text form.

I’m rewriting and recompiling many of the utilities to make them more efficient and to get rid of stray files that I used before I figured out how to access argv and argc from inside UIApplications.

The utilities include most of the old favorites (like the screen-shot utility snap, and the SpringBoard-refresher restart) and new ones (like ip-print, which shows your unit’s ip-address, and xwidg, which allows you to maintain both a system Applications folder and a private one).

The Erica Utilities right now are in a state of flux and growth so expect a lot of updates in the near future.
